Real easy pattern even for beginners...Pattern booklet is a great item that is enclosed with pattern containing instructions. Easy to follow to illustrations as well. Different variations as well. Looks super made up. I plan to extend the bottom out of the pattern to make a dress..

This pattern went together effortlessly. The design is simple and elegant. It lends itself to romantic draping which is why I chose ity 4 way stretch fabric. I chose to add a lace insert which I embroidered separately as a rectangle and sewed directly into the seam. At the ends I merged the seams into one then carried on with the normal seam. Then I serged the shape into an oval, steamed the open seam on either side of or in front of the lace closed as if It is a hidden element, and tacked it on the outside to open only when my arm is bent. The only part I am having trouble with is the cuff application. When I do it the way I am reading the picture the opening is too small for my hand. When I sew it the other way it hangs like a bell extension. Perhaps I need to go back and evaluate if I should cut 4 instead of two. It isn’t a design flaw. It’s operator interpretation error I’m sure. I get lots of compliments on this blouse. I’d like to try extending it down so that it evolves as a lounging caftan reminiscent of the 70’s.
