Tailor's Clapper

For year's I wondered how to get a crisp press, then I saw a video by Angela and knew I had to have this. love it

I never knew such a tool existed and truly not sure how or why it works, but it does work beautifully. The professional press of seams is remarkable, giving my finished product the look of a finely made item. So glad Angela Wolf introduced her readers to this well kept secret (maybe I just don't get out much, not sure)! One thing it really made a difference with: My husband bought a shirt made from one of the nice lightweight fibers they use so often in sports wear, and immediately got a pull in the fabric. He was going to clip off the resulting loop of thread and I asked him not to and to let me see what I could do with it. I pulled it through to the back of the shirt, stretched it a little, and pressed it this way and that. Looked better but still noticeable. I grabbed the tailor's clapper and did more fancy pressing and now you cannot see the pull at all! He was impressed. A fine piece of workmanship and quality tool. Thank you, Angela!

Just purchased Angela's tailor's clapper, and I just love it! I had my mom's old one which was made out of a lighter weight wood, this one is much nicer (sorry mom). Angela's clapper is made from a solid hard wood, with no slivers.

Thrilled with the result when using my new clapper in my sewing projects! Am ordering a second one for my son who wants to use it when ironing his military uniform!

I shopped around for a tailor's clapper but couldn't find one that looked as nice , or was as well priced as this one. It makes the job of pressing seams and hems an absolute pleasure! It fits my hand perfectly, is not heavy, and it very smooth. Now I can't imagine ever being without one. Everyone who sews should have one as part of their essential tool kit.

Who knew using this tailor's clapper would make such a difference in ironing?!! It really helps my clothes/projects look professionally done!

I love the clapper !! I have used it both for clothing AND in-the-hoop embroidery work. The clapper helped to flatten out the seams allowing the in-the-hoop projects to lay flat. I use it all the time !!

I have sewn for 52 years. Don't know how I have lived without this wonderful product! Thanks Angela for a great design. No more steamed hands. Well worth the price, and I received a nice thank you card!

This Tailor's Clapper is excellent. Never realized how much it helps when making creases and folds. Love it!
