Tailor's Clapper

I love this product. Gives me sharp creases and helps to press my seams flat.

I only have one word for this product; LOVE !!! I never would have thought that using a clapper after you iron would make such a difference! I am very happy with my purchase of the clapper

how great is this tool, i would say outstanding!! my garments and seams have never looked so professional. the Clapper just gives my work a perfect finishing touch.

I never would have believed that a wooden clapper (used only a few seconds after pressing fabric) could produce such sharp seams and hem. Like magic my seams and hems are now always perfect.

I love your tailoring class. I recently purchased it and have learned tons of information. I have been sewing for many years and have hemmed many pants for others and had never heard of the clapper. I've my Tailor's Clapper quite a few times now. It really helps to press things flat and crisp!! I'm so glad I have it. Also, customer service is outstanding. I had a problem with USPS, and Angela was immediately responsive and interested in what she could do on her part so there wouldn't be a problem in the future with others who ordered a clapper. On a recent trip to England I had my first experience watching a tailor's clapper being used on a shirt I was having altered. This guy's clapper was well worn but what stood out was the crisp lines placed on the shirt with the use of this clapper. I finally tracked down a clapper on this web site, I have to say the video and pictures where enough to show this was a quality built clapper. Although there is not much to a clapper, the design, shape and type of wood used are important...let's face it, if I wanted to I could have just used an old piece of 2x4 lumber. I highly recommend this product, its taper makes it a great fit in the hand for either a man or woman and is the perfect size for use on shirts or pants. This clapper is so great, I love it! I only owned a seam stick and had not purchased a clapper until I saw this one. It has just the right weight to put a little pressure on your seams without you even doing so, of course when you do, it works even better! Angela's persistence with her woodworker surely has paid off!

Thank Angela for a wonderfully made clapper. It is easy to hold and the wood is so beautiful. I have never used a clapper before and I can really tell a difference in the quality of pressing.
