Tailor's Clapper

I love it. I quilt almost daily and I unintentionally collect fabric. Sometimes it is difficult to get seams to lie flat, sometimes a crease just does not want to come out of fabric, or the quilt clock won’t lay flat. The clapper is wonderful for all these issues and more. I have both sizes and I love both of them. I keep them by my sewing machine on my ironing table. Sometimes when I press I will just let the clapper sit on the seam or block.

The clapper has really helped me in making crisper quilt blocks.

I apologize for the delay between purchasing the clapper and writing this review. Simply put: no time to sew! I am making up for lost time now, sewing like a madwoman. I have picked up clappers in retail fabric stores and found them very light in comparison. I have used this clapper any time I need to tame a seam, a crease, or anytime I need something to lay flat after pressing. I am very impressed. I thought I would have to put some muscle into the business, but the clapper's weight is all that is needed. Thank you for ensuring that this quality tool is available.

I did not understand how this could possibly work like it's advertised. I am blown away by the difference in pressing my thick handbag seams using this! I had no idea it even existed, then I saw something, did a little research, and decided to give it a try. I honestly am just amazed with this, and my only regret is that I didn't get one years ago! Beautiful wood. Very strong ... just heavy enough!

This handy tool is great for any kind of sewing projects. Currently, I'm not doing alterations or making clothes yet, I use it in my purse making business and found it to be that perfect solution that I need for that perfect fold or that to bulky corner. It was worth the purchase.
