Product Description

Angela Wolf Pattern Collection

The Clapper is the perfect and must have pressing tool for every sewing room.  As seen on It's Sew Easy TV, Angela Wolf uses this tool for everything from pressing up hems, creasing pants, pressing seam allowances open, even pressing knit fabrics.  All you need is a little steam and press the area with the clapper for perfect pressing.  Made in the USA.

I am very picky about my sewing and pressing tools.  These clappers have been custom made to my specifications using the finest hardwood available.  Enjoy!  xoxo Angela

  1. Love the Clapper!

Posted by Barbara on 8th Oct 2014

I am a so happy to have found this product and not just for sewing. It's very helpful after sewing a hem. I am a quilter and the Clapper works great on seams and intersections that can get bulky. Happy Angela tweaked the product. Fits a women's hand perfectly!

  2. This product speaks for itself.

Posted by Carrie Parks on 18th Jul 2014

This product is just what it says it is and does what it says it does. I can see what the rave is all about. Can't see how I did without it all this time. It is a must if you press and and like crisp clean creases. If you heard about the clapper, you can believe everything positive that is said about it. Try it and you will be a believer...I promise.

  5. Angela Unlocks The Secret Of Best Tailoring Tool!

Posted by Linda Heinsohn on 18th May 2014

When I was learning how to sew wool, plaid skirts in Home Ec class in the 1960s, we had to get a clapper just like Angela's. They had us banging on the pleats and hems with that thing! Using the clapper that way did nothing for a crisp hem plus it hurt my hand to use it that way. Eventually, I threw mine away; it seemed so useless to me.

Since taking Angela's class however, I've learned the correct way to use The Clapper. You PRESS AND HOLD after a steamy press. That's it; that's all! No banging, no baggy hems, no won't-lay-flat vents.

Thank you, Angela! Your clapper is high quality, easy to use, fits easily in my hand. Your teaching is of similar high quality! I'm tickled to have found you on Craftsy and learned--at last--how to use this valuable tailoring tool!

Love my clapper. It really makes nice crisp hems. Love the grooves for gripping and the shape of the clapper the wood is smooth and holds the steam wonderfully.. Have been pressing everything ! Thanks Angela for a fabulous tool.

  10. Wish I had known about this sooner!

Posted by HelenG on 9th Apr 2014

Wonderful tool that I wish I had known about a long time ago. Makes hems and seams so crisp and no need to pin before hemming. It's a time saver and makes pressed clothing look even better.
